Netherlands releases postage stamps in Sri Sri's honour |

TNT Post, the postal department of the Netherlands, affiliated to the Government of Netherlands has released four postage stamps to honour founder of the Art of Living and the International Association for Human Values, His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s contribution to humanity. |

PRESS RELEASE Netherland releases postage stamps in honour of Sri Sri Bangalore. May 4, 2009. TNT Post, the postal department of Netherlands, affiliated to the Government of Netherlands has released four postage stamps to honour Art of Living founder, His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s contribution to humanity. Two of the stamps carry photographs of His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The third stamp has a photograph of Vishalakshi Mantap, the main meditation hall at Art of Living’s International Centre in Bangalore while the fourth has pictures of children from the rural school run by the Art of Living foundation at the outskirts of Bangalore, where 2000+ rural and less-privileged children are provided free meals and education. This honour comes as Sri Sri is on a tour to Europe where he is visiting Bulgaria, Germany, Switzerland and Netherlands. Sri Sri is currently in Netherlands where, among his other engagements, he is conducting a meditation camp for about 1000 people. |
