Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among women in UAE. It is the 2nd most leading cause of death in women world over. It is said that 1 in every 8 women will get breast cancer during a lifetime. If detected in the early stage it can be cured completely and without much disfigurement. The 1st step towards early detection is Breast Self Examination by the women.

Art Of Living Dubai in association with Dr. Sujaya Rajasekhar MBBS, MS (Gen.Surgery) a lady surgeon working in Dubai has organized a FREE medical seminar on 15th Feb 2008 at The Art Of Living Dubai Center, Dubai.

Dr. Sujaya has spoke about the various breast diseases, the proper technique of breast self examination and Early Detection of Breast Cancer. Dr. Sujaya has more than 15 years of experience after her post graduation in General Surgery in 1992. Since she is a lady surgeon she has special interest in breast diseases and has conducted many seminars / classes on early detection of Breast Cancer in Dubai. She has also given talks on radio to help create awareness among women about breast cancer.
