As a part of the ongoing charity works, a team of Art Of Living Volunteers lead by Smt. Janaki Devi (Volunteer Teacher - Art Of Living Malayalam) conducted their 2nd Free-Medical Camp at the Labour camp on 5th Feb 2010. The camp was in Al Quoz Industrial area, Dubai, UAE.

The Camp was formally inaugurated by Sri. Francis Savier Xaxa, Labour Consul and first secretary to the Indian Consul, Dubai, UAE.

There were 600+ Labourers from different nationalities like India / Bangladesh / Pakistan / Philippines / Sudan / Egypt / Lebanon....

Dr. M.K. Muneer (Former Minister for works - Kerala State, Medical practitioner, Social and Political worker, Muslim league state secretariat member, Singer and Writer) while was on tour also visited the camp by hearing such a charity activity by the Art Of Living volunteers from his own state.

There were 11 doctors from various hospitals/clinics with various specializations. A paramedical team with required medical assistance was also participated in this camp.

Labour Consul very much appreciated this charity activity and promised all sorts of help within the limits for their future endeavours also. Dr. M.K. Muneer was also expressed his happiness by witnessing the dedication and commitment of these volunteers and given his blessing for the future projects too.

The involvement and the commitment of the various Doctors & the Paramedical Team were noteworthy. They spent tirelessly during all these hours of camp without taking any sorts of rests.

This medical camp was successful in its aim and the expression of the beneficiaries eyes were boundless in gratitude
